As we gather for our year-end festivities and express our gratitude for the people we work with, it is an excellent occasion to share the successes of the company with the team. In addition, the end of the year is an appropriate time to demonstrate to your team how grateful you are for their contributions while promoting a message of ongoing stability, growth, and success regardless of the level of challenge throughout the year.
All employees want to know how their efforts contribute to the success of the company. They want to know how the company performed and what areas they can help improve. They want to feel informed, and feel like a part of the company, not a replaceable commodity. When communication is lacking, even the most loyal employees may start looking for another position where their contributions will be acknowledged and valued. This holiday season we encourage you to take the lead in communicating and investing in coaching for your staff to help them build on and take ownership for their communication skills.
