Construction Senior Estimator

Title: Construction Senior Estimator (Miami, FL)

The primary purpose of this position is to provide qualitative and quantitative takeoff, along with cost estimates for construction projects within a specified deadline. To perform this job successfully. An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains Master Estimate Templates
• Responsible for all hardware and software systems related to Estimating
• Prepares Material (concrete, steel, block and lumber) and Labor Take-offs
• Prepares job schedule
• Applies overhead to determine final bid price
• Prepares scope of work and proposal
• Reviews and Reports Actual v. Budget Costs and Schedule on every job

Requirements:

• 4 year Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or building construction is preferred 
• Minimum 5 years field experience in structural construction of single-family homes, warehouses, shopping centers, or post-tension structures up to 10 stories.
• Minimum 5 years office experience in the estimation of structural construction of single family homes, warehouses, shopping center or post-tension structures up to 10 stories.
• South Florida Experience preferred
