Job Overview:

The Permit Coordinator will be responsible for managing the administrative processes for 100+ overlapping projects with varied sizes and schedules, from the signed contract through permit approval. The Coordinator will be notarizing and recording all Notice of Commencements within 24 hours of receipt. The individual in this role will perform daily tracking of the permit pipeline, compiling the permit application documents to create completed packages, coordinating permit package submissions to the respective building departments, and updating the CRM notes per specified project. They will maintain and organize the database by archiving completed projects and ensuring that all information is input correctly and in order.

The Permit Coordinator position requires someone with a valid Florida driver’s license and the ability to reliably commute to the Company Office daily. Preferably, the candidate will have a minimum of 2 years related experience in telephonic customer service, coordination of construction activities with municipalities, and proficiency in project management software; however, at least 2-3 years of customer service experience is required. The Permit Coordinator must also be legally authorized to work in the US full-time for an indefinite period.
