Title: Construction Marketing Manager (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

Job Function:

The Marketing Manager role involves the leadership of all activities in relation to establishing and implementing communication and marketing strategies. They will be the main source for public relations activities, both internally and externally, ensuring that the company’s values and mission are aligned with outreach efforts. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Construction field of study preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Marketing, preferably within the construction industry
  • Detail oriented
  • Self-motivated and quick thinking
  • Strong interpersonal skils
  • Strong organization and time management skills and the ability to prioritize work-load
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to navigate social media
  • The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
  • The ability to consistently produce accurate and timely work
  • A professional appearance and demeanor
  • The flexibility to meet required deadlines with short notice.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare prequalifications – update project lists/references
  • Prepare company bid packages (capability statements) for high-profile projects
  • Prepare lunch + learn presentations and provide content for updated credit-based presentations
  • Prepare Symposium presentations
  • Register, coordinate, prepare, travel, set up, and attend shows
  • Determine, and purchase gifts for trade show giveaways/gifts for Xmas party
  • Determine and purchase promotional items
  • Coordinate and respond to donation requests/event contributions – attend as needed
  • Coordinate with employees to represent at association/GC events
  • Refine and write internal newsletters, and letters on behalf of management to address issues, etc.
  • Refine and write content for press opportunities as needed
  • Design specific ads/provide graphic art as requested and coordinate in-office imagery (posters)
  • Prepare and re-order Business cards for employees
  • Order printing and collateral materials as needed
  • Special projects as needed
  • Xmas Party presentation
  • Prepare 3-6 month marketing plan to determine budget, activities, analysis efforts, pricing matrix, and ROI
  • Prepare a better, more defined business model to share with the sales team to refine opportunities and more definitive awards
  • Investigate competition and implement more social media involvement
