Job Overview:

The Lead Superintendent will develop a plan for the sequence of work while being conscious of the schedule, budget, and scope of a project. This individual will be responsible for implementing a safety program and conducting regular inspections to ensure the project is within the company and government standards of operation. The Lead Superintendent will also have a hand in the administrative functions by providing information on a timely basis for cost to complete, financial statements, and pay requisitions.

The qualified candidate must have held the role of Lead Superintendent on at least one previous project and been an assistant on a minimum of two previous projects. An industry-related college degree is preferred and knowledge of how to operate a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools (e-mail, Internet, etc.) will be a necessity.

We are looking for an individual with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to make decisions under tight deadlines. The Lead Superintendent will face challenges and be able to effectively address conflict while providing direction to their team. Organizing tools, people, and equipment, this candidate should exhibit a commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes and making necessary changes to achieve the goal of meeting/exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
