Title: Construction Business Development Manager (West Palm Beach, FL)

General Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager will report to the Vice President and will lead business development efforts to support Company’s Business Plan. This individual will be tasked with managing and driving the business development activities to reach and establish relationships with high-level clients and community stakeholders. The Business Development Manager must be a flexible and adaptable team player, as well as have strong communication and client contact/management skills. He/she will collaborate and work closely with the Executive team and Estimating. The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, researches, and leads the pursuit of potential clients and project opportunities
  • Actively engages with internal company team members on a routine basis
  • Gains understanding and use of the Company’s Business Development process
  • Participates in pursuit of strategy development
  • Gains industry and Company knowledge
  • Writes and supports proposal process
  • Participates in presentation preparation and coaching
  • Participates in leadership in civic/community organizations
  • Represents the Company in a positive manner in the community
  • Manages local Sales budget process
  • Enters and maintains accurate and timely data in Salesforce

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
