 Construction Business Development Manager

The Construction Business Development Manager will report to the Vice President and will lead business development efforts to support Company Business Plan. This individual will be tasked with managing and driving the business development activities to reach and establish relationships with high-level clients and community stakeholders. The Construction Business Development Manager must be a flexible and adaptable team player, as well as have strong communication and client contact/management skills. He/she will collaborate and work closely with the Executive team and Estimating. The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills.

Construction Business Development Manager Duties & Responsibilities

-Identifies, researches and leads pursuit of potential clients and project opportunities

-Actively engages with internal company team members on a routine basis

-Gains understanding and use of the Company’s Business Development process

-Understands and represents Company’s core values: Care for Life, Act Ethically and Transparently, Be Better Together, Commit to Customers

-Participates in pursuit strategy development

-Gains industry and Company knowledge

-Writes and supports proposal process

-Participates in presentation preparation and coaching
