Construction Acquisitions Associate
The Construction Acquisitions Associates will coordinate the Vacant Land analysis and evaluation of all physical aspects of the site. This position will be responsible to coordinate the due diligence and entitlement efforts.
Construction Acquisitions Associate Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinates due diligence and entitlement efforts.
Tracking key dates in connection with due diligence and entitlements and assisting in the updating of the project’s proforma.
Reviews title and survey materials.
Orders third-party services and coordinates with service providers to real estate transactions, related to surveys, zoning reports, environmental site assessments, property condition reports, permit reports, and appraisals.
Evaluates the following aspects: Wetland/Woodlands, Historical/Archaeological and Endangered Species.
Assists with preparation of due diligence items.
Reviews due diligence checklists and closing documents.
Completes general post-closing items.
Organizes meetings, reserving conference rooms, arranging catering services and coordinating schedules.
Updates internal tracking sheets and mangers filing system both electronically and physical files.
Construction Acquisitions Associate Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree on Business Administration or Arts of Real Estate studies.
At Least one year of experience working with Acquisitions and municipalities.
Experience with business transactions.
Real Estate experience a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate potentially detailed and complex information to others
Aptitude and willingness to work on complex procedures
Detail oriented with strong organization and time management skills
Problem-solving, analytical and research skills
Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
Willingness to work both independently and as a part of a team in a deadline-driven environment
Commitment to professional growth and development
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and aptitude for quickly learning various other programs.
