Once again I have great news regarding the renovation of our new
building.
After my last update a week ago a few very exciting things happened that
I wanted to share with you.
First of all we passed our first inspection!
Lotspeich who has donated all of the drywall, ceiling work
and interior and exterior doors was able to also get the cement cutter
for the plumbing work.
Hypower donated all of our electrical materials.
Addison Storage donated the use of some equipment
to continue the plumbing process.
Biscayne Restoration has agreed to repair the back stair railing.
And
if that wasn't enough for one week,
The Christian Community Foundation in conjunction with the
Stacy Foundation granted us a matching grant
of $5,000
to be put towards finishing the store.
We are looking for a company or individual who would feel led to match
that grant.
Lindsay and I continue to be completely in awe of the favor God is
providing for us. We know that this building is on His heart. We're
humbled and grateful beyond words.
On our list for this week are the following:
We
need to raise $5000 in order for the Stacy Foundation to release their
matching grant;
Concrete
- to fill one yard plumbing area needs to be pumped in;
Pest
Control Company Termite spray underground plumbing;
Plumbing
60
feet of 1/2 inch copper
140
feet of 3/4 inch cooper
Various
fittings for each
2
lengths of 4 inch piping
4
lengths of 2 inch piping;
Insulation
16
inch R8 Batten Insulation
1,000
SF
Knockdown
to cover 2,000
SF.
Again, thank you all so much for your generosity!
If you could continue to think about helping us by connecting us to
people you may know who can supply the last few needs on the list we
would be so appreciative.
It looks like we are still on track for a move in date of September 1st.
Blessings,
Linda
