YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience or Knowledge of the Construction Industry: Familiarity with the construction industry’s processes, terminology, and practices is essential.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to provide support to the president while effectively managing multiple projects and tasks.
  • ‘Make It Happen’ Attitude: Demonstrated motivation, self-initiative, and a proactive approach to tasks. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are necessary for success.
  • Preferred Degree: A degree from an accredited university in business administration, construction management, or a related discipline is preferred. This educational background can provide valuable foundational knowledge for the role.

YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Event Coordination: Registering, preparing, traveling to, setting up, and attending trade shows. Coordinating employee representation at events.
  • Presentation Preparation: Creating Lunch & Learn and Symposium presentations, including content for AIA credit-based presentations.
  • Bid Package Preparation: Generating company bid packages for high-profile projects.
  • Outbound Communication: Refining and composing internal newsletters, as well as crafting letters/press releases on behalf of management.
  • Inbound Communication Screening: Screening calls/visitors for the President directly, documenting all interactions and providing daily summaries via email.
  • Inquiry Response: Handling direct inquiries from architects, general contractors, and potential partners.
  • Social Media and Content: Increasing social media engagement by producing regular blog content and potentially podcasts, with support from the marketing team.

COMPENSATION

  • Base salary: starting at $60,000-$75,000
